Dragonfly worked with FIFA to produce 23 animation for the up and coming FIFA World Cup.
The campaign involved a series of animations that highlighted the various roles and responsibilities for the FIFA volunteer program. These videos were used as training material to educate new volunteers on the various roles.
The series had multiple objectives. The main objective was to educate the new recruits for the volunteer program on the various roles and responsibilities that were on offer.
Dragonfly worked closely with Tonic Agency to develop scripts that highlighted the tone and style of the FIFA volunteer brand.
Dragonfly developed 12 unique FIFA volunteer characters, each with their own unique names and personalities. These characters were central to the series and have become the face of the FIFA volunteer brand.
Dragonfly developed highly detailed storyboards which illustrated each scene within the video.
The development of animatics enables our clients to visualise the movement of the characters and how they would interact with their environment and each other.
The video series was a great success. FIFA will be using these videos for the next few years and they’ve started incorporating the characters into a variety of different.
