An animated explainer video, produced for the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT). The video outlined the timing and training process of one of their trainee accountants.
Dragonfly were commissioned by AAT to produce an animated explainer video that outlined the timeline and training process. The video was to be targeted predominantly at young people, who were leaving full-time education and looking for rewarding career options.
We took inspiration from the concept of ‘moving forward’, creating a character, who stays in the centre of the screen throughout the animation. Throughout the animation, the world appears to be moving around our character as his career with ATT continues to progress.
Our creatives were keen to highlight the idea of getting on in life – moving from point A to point B – using the motion design of this video as a visual representation of the concept.
This project is a great example of Dragonfly’s high quality hand drawn animation. Our creative team spent time with our client to identify a strong visual concept, the character designs and a comprehensive storyboard.
This animated video was fully storyboarded in advance of animation, in great detail. Because the animation style was hand drawn, we wanted to ensure we got the design just right, before our animators got to work.
FINAL VIDEO
The finished animation has a really nice flow to it. The video’s intention was to take viewers on a ‘journey’. You can watch the finished video below.
