KINGS COLLEGE VIDEO                  OBJECTIVE

The NHS celebrated 70 years of service in 2020. Kings College hospital, which was founded in 1909, wanted to mark the occasion with a video presentation, celebrating the successful care given at the hospital through the decades.

DEVELOPING THE SCRIPT

The script was carefully written to highlight the nearly 200-year legacy of Kings College Hospital. It punctuated the hospital’s evolution over time and served as an essential element in effective storytelling.

Dragonfly was honored to be selected by the National Health Service to create a video celebrating 70 years of service. The video production company was proud to deliver a high-quality product that highlighted the achievements of the NHS and Kings College Hospital.

SETTING THE SCENE: SET DESIGN

The production team faced challenges in acquiring accurate medical equipment and hospital props from various eras. Attention to detail in prop design was essential to ensure authenticity, with pressure on art department to achieve the right look.

SETTING THE RIGHT TONE:

Dragonfly developed the concept for the video campaign, blending key moments from history with post-production morphing techniques and clever editing to celebrate Kings College Hospital’s legacy.

CREATING A CONVINCING FAMILY

Auditions were held to source appropriate acting talent for the video, with the client involved in the decision-making process. This ensured authenticity and effective storytelling.
