Dragonfly commissioned by Morrisons Utilities to provide a training video for their employees. We set about producing something to stand-out from the average dull training video.
Entertainment value was important, so when it came to scripting, our scriptwriter adopted a tone of voice borrowed form the traditional instructional videos of the 1950’s.
Characters were carefully designed and illustrated, so as to be relatable by the employees who would watch the video.
FROM STORYBOARD TO 3D Animation
Storyboard artwork was essential, in order to map out a visual narrative, as well as to design imagery ahead of animation.
Characters were fist hand drawn. After client approval, the characters are then modelled in 3D on computers, then rigged, and animated.
FINAL VIDEO
Dragonfly set out to produce an animated training video with a certain quality. The resulting animation was visually engaging and it carried its message coupled with entertainment value.

“
Dragonfly blew us away with a 3D character animation that looked like something Disney or Pixar would have created. Great job!”
