This animated video was created for The National History Museum, with the objective of communicating with a child audience. The objective of the video campaign was to position creepy crawlies as interesting, not intimidating
Our team choose a style of animation selected to appeal to children. The look and feel is similar to children book illustration.
Our team consulted with experts at the Natural History Museum, to ensure the script was factually correct. This had to function as an ‘explainer video’, so needed an education value to it.
This animation required genuine artistic talent and a great deal of time was invested into creating the artwork. Our animators created hand illustrated insects, which all needed to be anatomically correct.
Storyboard artwork was very important with this project. Our team consulted throughout design, to ensure our client was happy with the plan for their animated video.
