Photographers in the film world are responsible for taking photographs/stills of film sets or studio shoots which can then be used for advertising purposes, used to create press and publicity. Photographs are usually either taken on set or in a studio which has been set up in a similar style to the video in order to emulate a similar feel. This is done throughout the filming process in order to capture as many stills from filming as possible.
