Our video production process

2. Scripting Stage

Once we’ve wrangled the information we need, we’ll write a video script that crystallizes your business’s core message. Before we meddle with visuals, we must make sure your offer is communicated clearly. While writing, we ask ourselves “Would this script work for radio?” If the answer is yes, we’re on our way to creating a video with real purpose.

You’ll get unlimited revisions because Rome wasn’t built in a day, right? Once the script is approved, the producer will reach out to your key stakeholders to make sure that we’re all up to speed.

3. Concept and Visual Style Stage

Every brilliant video is born from a solid visual style! Our team will brainstorm ideas for your video’s visual framework and uncover which elements bring your script to life. We’ll show you your options, so you can tell us what you love and hate. Your brand guidelines are key here so that we can work within your set boundaries. 

4. Storyboard Stage

Your visual style approved. Great! Now we’ll fill in the gaps by sketching a storyboard. The storyboard will map out the visuals of your video scene-by-scene much like a book. Your video is finally taking shape as each shot is clearly drawn up, showing the progression of your story.



5. Production

At this stage in your animated video, we’ll be… well, animating! For live-action videos, we’ll be filming and editing. Dragonfly collaborates with the most talented animators and videographers in this industry. We’re renowned for our high production value, and we’re industry leaders when it comes to seamless video editing, punchy colour grading, and soul-stirring sound effects.
